The New Orleans Police Traffic Division didn't have to travel very far to respond to this one.

NOLA

A man was stabbed to death near the Lower Garden District on Tuesday evening, according to New Orleans police.

Authorities are investigating the homicide that occurred in the 1900 block of Tchoupitoulas Street around 8:15 p.m. The victim has not yet been identified, nor have police released details on possible suspects or a motive.

You know those guidelines that say if you're being followed, head to a police station?

Does that apply in NOLA?

This could be a good thing or a bad thing. In my mind it's justified revenge until more facts are revealed.

This is where I state the obvious about NOLA being a shithole and sensitive NOLA snowflakes rush to downvote me out of a blissful blindness-fueled denial.

Well not what any of us were expecting here!

Tuesday was not the first time Connelly had been accused of a violent crime. He pleaded guilty in 2003 to charges of aggravated battery as well as auto theft and received a five-year prison sentence, court records show.

He was out on a $2,500 recognizance bond in connection with a pending simple criminal damage and criminal trespassing case when police detained him Tuesday night in the fatal stabbing
