Rank the playoff opposing fanbases from worst to best

The worst: Not even close to be, has to be Oklahoma. Whinny, delusional, entitled bitches. They are only fan base I have ever encountered that’s actually worse than bama.
The ok: Clemson, they come here talk shite etc, but as far as I can tell are generally tolerable. Don’t seem to be tons of them. Seem to know that we wanted to get them in SEC but Bama and Georgia blocked it.
The best: Ohio State, the opposite of what you would expect, (their traveling fans). They are confident, but generally fun to hang out with, Get the tiger bait thing, quick to engage in drinking contest, genuinely curious about our traditions and culture, about players etc. Also, quick to buy a round and good sports generally win lose or draw. Kinda like the Wisconsin fans. Also, share our dislike of Alabama and their fan base.
Just my two cents on this.

Haven't met the rest, but my buddy in the USAF was a huge Ohio State fan and he's pretty reasonable except when he's drunk and starts shooting

Actually my experience with OU fans is they are generally just overly nice people. Too nice actually. They are very conservative and will get butt hurt at the slightest of ‘Tiger Bait’ chants. Who knows how they would take a STTDB chant. At the end of the day they are a blue blood program, so wouldn’t any of them deserve at least a small amount of entitlement?
Clemson is new money. Prior to 2010 their program was virtually nothing outside of like 3-4 good years. Heck USCe still draws more donations and dollars from their fans as recent as 2018. Clemson fans seem to be very loyal though. They despise the SEC yet secretly want in.
Ohio State - the big 10 schools think of them as Bama and an a$$ hole fan base....I for one love them! They are the mid western version of LSU fans with just a more storied football program. If I went to a bar and just wanted to have some beers with a fan base outside of the SEC I’d choose these guys all day long. They talk a lot of crap, but it’s in good fun. Don’t we do that too?....just with a lot better food!

I actually really enjoyed hanging with them last time. I remember telling one of them, I hope you guys can still have a good time after we beat them. He said, “ it was a good game, you guys are the better team and deserved the championship this year. I am in great city of New Orleans with good friends and I am going to have a damn good time. “
With that, I bought another round and we toasted something and went our separate ways.

My group met and hung out with some OSU fans after we beat them in 2007 in NOLA for the natty championship. I got the same take. They could have sulked from getting curb stomped but they were really fun to party with. Think our fan bases are somewhat similar.

This is true. I lived in Columbus for 10 years and they are good people unless it comes to Michigan. My groomsmen were all Buckeyes. I brought my best man to the 2007 natty and he had the best time of his life. He still talks to dudes he met from my hometown in LA. He gained 9 lbs in 2 days in NOLA

People talk about how bad Texas fans are (and they are), or Florida fans... but Chokelahoma fans put them all to shame.

OSU - Both came on the TD boards pre Natty, but OSU fans were the WORST AND MOST DELUSIONAL. We beat that arse and they scattered like roaches.

Crap - hit submit too soon but yeah, there were a lot of shite talkers on here before the 2007 game. I'm not sure how many were trolls - not many OSU fans that I know were all too confident before the 2007 game.

Don't know about Okla. because it's tough to get a good forum there unless you get 247 or rivals.
Clemsons fans are a little cocky but they deserve it because they have been so successful. Not a bad fan base and I read TigerNet now and then.
I really enjoy reading OSU forum "eleven warriors" because of the good info and analysis they present... There only obsession is with TTUN (Michigan) which they truly hate and its a 24/7 thing with them. I very rarely see "They don't play anyone" or "they suck" there... Generally speaking they have a genuine respect for their opponents and I enjoy reading that.

TBH a lot of us don't like the SEC in general. Some of that is jealousy and a lot has to do with the whole conference pride thing which we find perplexing. I always rooted against any Big 10 schools when they played OOC or in bowl games. I can't imagine rooting for Michigan or Penn State.

I was surprised too at the OSU fans for the 2007 championship game. They came to have a good time and our fans got along great together. I don't have much of an opinion of the OU fans because they stayed to themselves almost completely. It was strange passing by places that were full to capacity with nothing but OU fans. They had no desire at all to meet our fans.

You got it completely right. The same thing will happen in Atlanta, it could just be cultural but you feel like the simply think they are just too good to hang out with you.
Texas fan can be obnoxious, but their traveling fan are fine, and at least they don’t all cluster together in separate clubs etc. Maybe they are just terrified of us? No clue, but when they lost they disappear like cockroaches when you turn on the light.
Win, lose I know buckeye and tiger fans will be drinking together after the game, and suspect the same with Clemson fans.

I'm from Pennsylvania and saw a ton of OSU fans growing up. They are the worst I've met. They honestly think they invented college fandom that everyone should give THEM respect, not the team, THEM, for being fans. I hope they win because I think it would be easier to beat them but I wouldn't mind seeing Clemson drill them again.
