I have never trusted Horowitz. After all, he's still an Obama appointee.
To get an appointment from Obama for a post like IG over the DOJ demonstrates that Obama has confidence in you and that is a very big negative against you.

Probably a pretty wide-ranging investigation. Hell if Mueller took 3 years, Durham may easily be at least 2. How long has it been?

Durham was in-progress when FBI General Counsel James Baker's attorney advised him not to answer certain questions due to ongoing investigations by Durham. This was at the House Intel Committee hearings, back in Oct 3, 2018.

Yep. Our entire federal govt is corrupt. Of course they are going to investigate themselves and find nothing to prosecute...if anyone gets prosecuted it will be some low level no name patsy and then business as usual starts again.

Bongino thinks it'll follow Horowitz by a month or so. That might be informed speculation on his part, or he knows something. "279" seems to be a legit source for him.

Wow. I don't really like the sound of that, but there's no telling. Mueller's 3 year investigation was most likely the most dysfunctional large scale investigation in modern history. So it probably not best to compare anything to that. But still seems like a mighty tight timeline. I guess we shall see.

Sounds like what the right did with the Mueller report and the impeachment hearings.
Nothing in the IG report is going to change the findings of the Russia investigation.
I do hope that anyone who violated policy or law is punished accordingly though.
