Multiple sources with knowledge of the situation have told the Ole Miss Spirit that Florida Atlantic coach Lane Kiffin is on the verge of becoming the next head football coach at Ole Miss.
Kiffin and Ole Miss athletics director Keith Carter met in person in Boca Rotan, Fla., to discuss the job on Thursday. Kiffin was also a candidate for the head coaching vacancy at Arkansas.
