The same logic applies to LSU then. You said the question of was the best had already been answered in the regular game. Yet, LSU lost the BCSNCG. So, how did LSU prove they were the best if LSU also did not win both games?

Are you dense?

Because the second game shouldn't have been played.

If you're creating a game to determine the 2 best teams, 1 of those 2 can't be there if they already lost to the other.

It's already been demonstrated on the field that the loser of that first game isn't the best team in the country. It's simple process of elimination.

The same logic used in 2006 was completely thrown out the window in 2011. What if we get a rematch in 2006? We never know that Florida is actually light-years better than both OSU and Michigan.
