I say if you have children you should take the responsibility to feed them. A couple eggs in the morning and a brown bag sandwich is not that expensive and not hard to make.
The truly poor gets money/vouchers/food stamps for food, why do the schools need to step in to feed them?
If the parents can’t feed their kids then the state should remove the kids because in reality they will never be able to function coming out of an environment like that.

And do what with them? Right now there's over 400K in foster care and not enough foster parents.
