Who would stay in a 30 story building that was built in two weeks?
I wouldn't even stay in a residential house that was built in two weeks.
No sane person would disagree with the idea that unions and government regulations can really slow down construction projects. But in all of that mess are some pretty essential things, like inspections to make sure the building is properly assembled, that it's not going to fall apart. I don't know how you could possibly perform the necessary inspections and corrections for a building of that size in two weeks. And there will, without a doubt, be mistakes because even the best workers make some mistakes.

Who would even enter a 100+ story building built in 13 months in 1930? Ever been in the Empire State Building?
