I see this game being a lot like the Auburn game. LSU moved the ball on Auburn. The difference is do you score touchdowns in the redzone. They did not do that well against Auburn.

They don't have the ability to apply as much pressure as an Auburn line but they can fill the gaps very very well. I would expect them to mix things up a bit from zone to man. They know that they can't stop Joe so I think they will try to stop the run and force Joe to throw short passes. They will be doing everything in their power to keep the wideouts under then by never losing that deep coverage.
The o line will need to protect Joe well but more so run block better since we are facing a great run d.
This ultimately comes down to time of posession in my opinion and no turnovers. Fact is Georgia does not have a high powered offense.
Unless we kill ourselves by giving away turnovers or penalties we should be fine.

What you need to look at is our D vs their O. Our D matches up really well against this O.

There is only one way to beat this years LSU team... you have to have a dominant front 4 (like Clemson last year) that can do it all, stop the run and get pressure. and you have to have long and I mean long scoring drives to keep the ball out of Joe Burrows hands... that is it...
Our defense can/will get stops when they need to... trading possessions with us doesnt bode well for anyone... our defense can stop/slow down their run game... because of our 3-4 defense and Tyler shelvin... the 50 look we employed Vs TAMU gave them fits, we matched up with their WR's very well and we loaded the box daring Mond to beat us with his arm... he couldnt do it and the game got ugly... we loaded the box with 7 dudes, 5 on the line many times... we added beef up there... and I suspect we will do much of the same vs Georgia.. fromm would have to have the game of his life just to keep them in it...

You have a faulty recollection of that game.

Didn't LSU have over 500 yards of offense against Auburn?

I've never believed the above for a minute. I always felt the extremely piss poor soggy field conditions had more to do with that score than Auburn's defense did. As it altered the LSU play calling in that game to ultra-conservative play not to lose.

If I were UGA, I'd rush three and put 8 in pass defense and try to contain LSU that way as much as possible to attempt to slow LSU down.
As Joe Burrow is extremely dangerous when he is under pressure, as that's when he makes most of big passing plays or takes off running for first downs.
If I was UGA, I'd try to keep the LSU receivers in front of me and try to contain them that way as much as possible and more or less make LSU work for every yard they get.
Meanwhile, the last thing I would do is let Jamar Chase, Justin Jefferson, or Terrace Marshall get behind the defense, cause Joe Burrow will find them and hit them in stride.
Moreover, cause LSU's passing attack is so effective, it opens up the run. So if UGA tries too hard to stop LSU's run, Joe Burrow will make them pay for it. Not to mention that CEH killed them last season.

LSU will score in middle-upper 30's, which will be enough for a double digits win

No. They play a soft zone like Ohio State and have a traditional offense. We win by 14 at least

The thing I hate about this match up is Georgia is playing for its playoff life and basically at home. I just hope LSU can match their intensity...if we can I see us putting up 40+
