Always found Voodoo to be average at best...the location on Nicholson was terrible....anything north of campus will struggle to make it....very surprised it lasted this long

Decent, nothing spectacular. Eaten there once and it nowhere compares to the BBQ in Texas.

Now Big Jakes needs to open a Baton Rouge location and STAY OPEN for dinner. HE WOULD MAKE A KILLING.

I no longer care for it. They used to serve a great fried bird, but no longer do so —- or at least when I last went about theee weeks ago.

But if I am ordering fried chicken at a BBQ restaurant, that in itself, indicates to me that the thing their supposed to be known for, isn’t that good as all.

I liked some of the food, but they've had freaking plastic wrapping cooked inside of my food three times since opening earlier this year (Government location). Once in the pot roast, once in the brisket fries, once in the bread pudding.

Three strikes, I'm done with the place.
