Those people are lame.

Half the fun of it is to recreate the huge feats from your childhood without any help from your parents.

Its fun. I'm 29 and most of my friends, even the married ones with kids, are not yet at "hosting" status in their families since their parents tend to do that. Its a fun chance to host your own adult event.

This is all I’m saying, we get together with friends on multiple occasions throughout the year. This year is honestly the first time I’ve heard the term “Friendsgiving”. It just seems silly to me, though I completely agree with the idea of the get together.
