I don't really know, officially, but one of my local grocery stores just put them out in their bakery. It seems to get earlier every season - pretty much right after the new year through Mardi Gras (Fat Tuesday). I believe some of the bakeries are taking orders now, as well. I was just thinking of running to the store for a blueberry cream cheese filled one.
