There is a very good chance they get blasted and still beat the spread.

-44 is rather ridiculous no matter who the teams are.

-44 is bad when it is Northwestern vs U Mass (had a similar line) but when it is a team that can put up 40 by half versus a wounded pig, I don't think it is a horrific spread.
