Have you even watched the footage of Saban talking to the huddle, and Tua telling him he wanted to stay in.
And of course, the injury was not to his ankle. It was a completely new injury.
He'll be fine, and some NFL team will pay him well,
even after he gets injured in preseason.

I’m not taking a side in this argument, but to say this is a new injury is disingenuous. The musculoskeletal system is connected. It’s common knowledge that overexerting when injured causes new injuries.
It’s very common in those with ankle and knee problems to develop major hip issues due to overcompensating and also using muscles in ways that you’re not used to.
Edit for typo

Why do we not hear of tons of players with high ankle sprains getting “tightrope surgery”?

He may never be the same again you do realize this right? There is a nice write up by a doctor about this injury. It may take 2 years to get right if he ever gets right the bone has to heal. Then you are going to have arthritis there then possibly down the road a hip replacement! Saban fricked this young man! He had nothing to prove running a 2 min offense up 35-7 already injured!
