I think that is really wrong on a lot of levels.

I think recruiting on the defensive side of the ball has been down. D-line and linebackers .
What y’all think?
Stevens - #1 safety
Delpit - rated top safety in CFB last year
Fulton - 5 star
Stingley - 5 star
Vincent - 5 star
Phillips - #1 ILB
Chaisson - 5 star
Lawrence - high 4 star
Fehoko - high 4 star
Shelvin - high 4 star (actually playing well)
Across the board the D has more talent than the offense. Last night I saw players still trying to get in position when OM snapped the ball. I saw Stevens looking around and trying to make calls when the ball was snapped. I saw multiple loaf plays where one player is making the tackle and the rest watched when they could have helped instead of allow the runner to carry the tackler. I watched poor technique and poor effort.
Delpit was supposed to be the leader this season and he's the biggest problem on the field. I have been relatively silent, hoping the D would get it together, but 10 games in and nothing's changed. Aranda, O and the team captains on D need to get their shite together or this team will lose an opportunity for a historic season due to the defense.

It seem to me that, talentwise,
LSU doesn’t have the studs on D It used to put on the field. I mean there was always at least one or two guys who other teams feared and required them to adjust their offensive game plan.
