Arkansas fans, Skip Holtz?

Obviously not the biggest name out there but he’s a solid coach.

Not a bad coach but could think of at least 4 or 5 other G5 coaches I would rather go after.

He is not a bad coach, but it also wouldn't be a glamorous hire either. He would bring stability and would be better than what we just fired. We can definitly do better though.

The beautiful part of it, if you were Arkansas and going to hire him, is he already probably knows all the recruiting Trails he would need to know in Arkansas and Texas and Louisiana.

Not a bad positive but recruiting footprint is probably not going to be very high on the list because the last coach was hired for mainly that. Obviously Skip is a better coach than Chad though.

Arkansas fans actually don’t view Lou Holtz that well. They think his good years were with Broyles’ players.

Huh, Holtz would be as likely to stay as many of the other G5 choices that have just as good if not better resumes. The point is there are other realistic and better options out there above Holtz.
