That’s what I thought too. Basketball recruiting starts so young, if you give a kid anything after the 6th grade you could be trying to illegally recruit him

To be objective, they didn't break any rules. His lawyers put a stay on the original decision meaning he's clear to play until the proceedings are complete.
Now, does Memphis run the risk of vacating wins if he's proven ineligible? Yes. Is it breaking the rules currently? No.
