So true. A lot of 3 star guys are just scratching the surface of their potential in high school. Hell some of them haven't even stopped growing.

On the other hand a lot of 5 star guys peak in high school. They get to the next level and all of the sudden they aren't the biggest/fastest/strongest player on the field anymore.

Look around the country at programs like OK Sate, Michigan State, Wisconsin, etc. They never finish in the top 10 in recruiting but they take these 3 star players and develop them. They usually have competitive teams.
