It’s pretty much a wash price wise. The longest you can get Hardie is twelve feet. LP comes in sixteen foot sticks. With using the LP in sixteen you’ll have less butt joints which always looks better. In a lot of cases you’ll have some walls that with Hardie you will have butt joints but with LP you wouldn’t. Everything that Hardie makes you can get in LP. Also, in my experience Hardie after a few years becomes brittle and it’s very hard to repair. Words can’t express how much easier it is to work with either. I swear I’m not a rep just sharing my experience having used both extensively.
I missed the 37k quote lol. If that includes soffit jump on that it if they do good work. Labor wise that house is a nightmare. To me that seems like the material doubled which is the standard on a job like that. Plus having to take the vinyl down and disposing.
