I use Gametime and now I’m wishing I would have bought them after game three of the ALCS lol. They have gone up 30-40% since this morning.
It’s pretty much a wash price wise. The longest you can get Hardie is twelve feet. LP comes in sixteen foot sticks. With using the LP in sixteen you’ll have less butt joints which always looks better. In a lot of cases you’ll have some walls that with Hardie you will have butt joints but with LP you wouldn’t. Everything that Hardie makes you can get in LP. Also, in my experience Hardie after a few years becomes brittle and it’s very hard to repair. Words can’t express how much easier it is to work with either. I swear I’m not a rep just sharing my experience having used both extensively.

I missed the 37k quote lol. If that includes soffit jump on that it if they do good work. Labor wise that house is a nightmare. To me that seems like the material doubled which is the standard on a job like that. Plus having to take the vinyl down and disposing.
I started using LP smart side instead of Hardie a few years ago. It holds up better and I wouldn’t ever recommend hardie over it. Your installer will thank you too. LP is much more sturdy and doesn’t show waves on long runs.

Also England developed a dry mix concrete mixed with steel fibers from recycled tires. It sets up faster requiring less road closure time while also being more durable. Plus it’s cheaper than traditional concrete.

Other States have been using the rubber pellets for rubberized asphalt for decades. It’s also more durable and quiet than regular asphalt.

Considering the shape of our roadways it’s too much common sense for Louisiana.
