Why the hell is Bond getting married? That's not his character at all.

He gets married and is still trying to seduce women. Bond makes for a crappy husband.

I think Bond has been married a couple times in the past. Definitely in On Her Majesty's Secret Service. Sean Connery's Bond did it once but it was part of his cover. Maybe one other one but I'm drawing a blank.

This is a bigger deal than whether or not she takes his last name.

Hell, my wife is an artist. I didn't think she should take my last name. Plus it is a pain in the arse if you're not getting kids - my ex did take my last name and asked if it was okay to just keep it to avoid the paper work.

He did once before, but they killed her right after the wedding.

Bond got married to Tracy in On Her Majesty's Secret Service then she was promptly killed off by Blofeld.

Hopefully IF he gets married in this one same result will apply.
