So what did everyone think?
Was too short for me. A bit disappointed. I know it’s the tour for the new album, but I wanted more Lateralus tracks. Wah.
ETA: didn’t see other thread.

i have been to many concerts. this one was way different than any other (1st time seeing tool).
james didnt talk between songs, he said louisiana once & maybe nola lol
it was dark the whole show besides lights from the stage which were cool, but you really couldn't see james
the no cell phone policy until the last song, which is not really a bad thing
james was never in the front the stage, he was on the side stages
the setlist was solid
no big screens for up close shots of the drummer or other band members
overall, it was a real good show. their sound was solid. they are just different i guess live than other bands

Did they play 9p to 11p? If so, that is exactly how the 7 prior shows I’ve seen were.
Like clockwork

I was in section 102 on Saturday night. I have been a casual listener of Tool for a long while, but I am far from a hardcore fan. Have always respected the hell out of their musical prowess, and originality. I've always wanted to see their show, and it lived up to the hype.
The sound was incredible, and the stage setup/visuals were unreal. I loved it. Evil and psychedelic. I really enjoyed the songs off of the new album.
Seeing Danny Carey live was something else. Absolute animal. Not sure if there is anyone better.
Will definitely see them again if given the chance.
