My argument is that the punishments do not fit the respective crimes. Them losing a starting lineman for a very dirty hit would have bigger implication for the game.

It was a stupid play and it cost them 7 pts. We won by 5. So that play basically cost them the game. Sabans rath and that fact are good enough

I think his grievance is more about the rule
If a player can get ejected for targeting which can be plausibly accidental then you should definitely get ejected for a terrible cheap shot like this.
Remember Vincent had to go out of the game after that.
