I guess the whole problem was that I couldn’t get it on the 4 trax

The way I load them is to drag them next to the ATV. Then stand on ATV looking backwards and drag the deer from the footwells up so head is on seat or touching the rear rack. I then use a small piece of rope to tie the head to the rack. Then walk around behind ATV and drag it up a little more and retie the head. Then pick up rear of deer and put on the rack.
Using the side of the ATV to drag it is much easier than trying to dead lift one onto the rack.
Loaded many deer this way.
