Public football fields (turf and grass)

I am a private QB coach and am looking for fields in the Baton Rouge area to take my athletes. I was wondering if anyone in here knew of any public football fields. Grass is fine but would also like to know about turf in case of rain days before training days.

Plenty of parks, some have nicer grass fields than others. If you’re running a big operation then it’s going to attract attention that you’re conducting business on public property and you’ll probably get run off or asked to rent the space.
I can’t think of any public facility that would be able to accommodate you indoors unless you can adjust to use a gym court

Just my opinion, I wouldn’t post on this board if I were legitimately trying to be involved with the local youth. That being said, the best thing you can do is speak to local hs/ms about using their facility and be as professional as possible.
You can be a staple in the community if you Provide a good service. The way I would do it is not charge a fee but take donations for your services. That way you get a ton of kids but also a good reputation while still making money.

Public schools will not let someone use their facilities due to insurance issues.

East Ascension’s practice field is open to the public, as the track around it is used daily by walkers and joggers. Nice natural grass.
