Only bad thing about this season is Zach Strief still sucks at broadcasting

Our boys are playing great, I just wish when I put on 870 it didn’t sound like a high school game was being broadcast.I hope WWL figures this out soon.

I don't know why it's so unpopular to voice this opinion. He's terrible. And Deuce does nothing to balance it out either. His voice is unremarkable, he stumbles over words constantly, sounds confused multiple times throughout the game, and has almost no idea how to paint a picture that a listener can use when trying to imagine the game. He has zero talent, and going from Henderson to a guy that couldn't land a Div. III football radio job, it is embarrassing. It's an NFL team, get an NFL level announcer ffs.

All very valid points.The fact the WWL would hire someone with 0 credibility is ridiculous.Its embarrassing to hear clips of the broadcast on other media outlets.

Deuce is ok. Strief is pretty bad. I’ve heard HS commentary better than him. I only listen to pregame anyway.

I still don’t get why people listen to the game on the radio. With YouTube tv and all other streaming companies it’s simpler to watch the game than to listen to it.

Zach & Deuce are connected to the franchise. They may not be the best & most polished broadcast team but they are Saints bloodline. They are good enough to listen to as an alternative to hearing the TV broadcast, which I normally can’t stand.

Not to mention they easily could’ve hired Sean Kelley, who, you know, actually has experience broadcasting New Orleans sports. Never made any sense to me why he wasn’t chosen over Strief.

Am I the only person who really likes them? I listen to them every Sunday and enjoy it. I don't even understand the complaints.
