Yep. Maybe just find a way out of where you are and get something a little bit more diverse to round out the ole resume. You could probably do a new, more exciting job standing on your head for a year or so. If you didn't like it start working on the new plan.

50k isn't exactly a high barrier to entry if you get in touch with the right people. Take a few folks you respect out to lunch and get their advice (and leads). And then take that advice and rock out. But all the advice above about working for yourself, that's the ticket. You'll never have unlimited earnings potential unless you work for yourself. Sales is a close second.

Side note: I'm trying to do an addition to my home and apparently there's soooooo much money to be made in construction and everyone has sooooo much work, I can't get quotes to even come in. It's ridiculous. Maybe managing those people is exactly what you should do even if you don't like babysitting. Hell, you could open a business just putting together quotes for contractors!!!!
