Ah I was just in Bowling Green. Had a burger from Becketts. Glad I'm back.

FFS tech beat Miami and just played Pitt into the 4th quarter.

That’s no where near as easy as most FCS opponents.

It's almost like you completely ignored my explanation of the linear nature of it.

It is exponentially more difficult to beat the #3 team than it is the #13 team. The difference between #90 and #100 is negligible.

So your opinions lose objective credibility.

Why? People constantly talk about top 25 wins. What’s different than looking at top 50, or whatever, wins?

No, you said trash arse Georgia tech should be worth as much as a FCS team.

That’s absurd.

Ohio State should be #1 at this point. They probably won’t end there if both teams win out.

Which is basically the gist of my beef. Why would they get passed if the team continues to look and execute at this level?

The committee looks at the totality of the resume. It should have high variance in the beginning and tighten up in the latter weeks.

I said they should be as useless, and I stand by that. They both should have a negligible impact on your SoS.

I really wish there was some metric they spit out rather than just the whole number rankings. It would be nice to know where you stack up, how close you are to another team, etc.

I know why they don't and never will do it, but it would be great nonetheless.

they almost always follow the bcs rankings dude. it's not difficult

the criteria doesn't change week to week as some are out lying to us all.

if you look at the hypothetical bcs rankings. that's the committee rankings pretty much every time

Official CFP Rankings - Week 11
1. Ohio State
2. Louisiana State
3. Alabama
4. Pennsylvania State

Dont disagree with the top 4 rankings (would've placed LSU above OSU but I'm biased ) I suppose them ranking Penn State #4 goes to show how the top 3 teams have clearly established themselves as the clear top teams in America and the #4 team basically joins the rest of the pack

The ACC has played 13 FCS teams this season, including a Georgia Tech loss to the Citadel

You really believe the committee sees Cincy and Wisconsin as the same level as Twxas, Auburn, and Florida?
If that is the case the it shows how bias they are co sidering levels of competition and all

Of course I believe that. They didn’t even rank Texas in their top 25. We all have to accept that any rankings assigned to teams prior to last night were made by people other than the committee. Those rankings mean nothing. The Texas win in the eyes of the committee was not a quality win given what Texas has done since then. Feel free to argue the point but the committee told us last night where they think teams are ranked.
