Going forward how do we change the rules within our Compliance dept?

Obviously a ton of threads on the topic of Divinity today and our compliance department.
How in the hell do we get an even playing field with our peers in the SEC?
When was the last time Saban kicked a player off at Bama? Are their compliance rules different than ours?
I refer to his speech before this season started talking about second chances and how he believes kicking a kid off bringing them back to the streets is worse than just forgiving them.
This speech was applauded by many on this board and folks in the media in general.
Question still remains how do we change rules within our compliance office to make sure we are on an even playing field with the rest of our SEC foes?

Our rules are probably much more in line with the rest of the SEC than people realize. I want to be a comparable program to Bama on the field, but we don’t have to be pieces of shite off the field to get there. Consequences are necessary.

Nobody made Divinity smoke weed.

We need to exorcise all these traitors from the alleged fanbase first.
Last year it was Devin White. This year it’s Divinity.
That any LSU fan would defend compliance after they conspired with Saban to frick LSU is an abomination, and I have a hard time seeing a real LSU fan siding with Saban and compliance after this.
We need a Gestapo-like organization to identity all of the traitors and remove them from the fanbase, and prevent them from ever identifying with LSU ever again.

Scott Woodward was supposed to up turn the apple cart and clean house. It’s apparently not happened

Can this not be on both compliance and Divinity? I have a hard time understanding why everyone is ultra focused on compliance and not at all on holding Divinity accountable. He knew the consequences, no?

Nobody even knows why he is off the team yet but we don’t need to be a team that says anything goes as long as we win.

Amazing you don't even know his name and you still post

All NCAA schools should follow the same guidelines.
Don’t give other teams an unfair advantage by letting players get away with something that causes another player to be kicked off the team.

I hope you’re not older than 22 years old
If you’re 40+ and thinking like this, you have issues

I’m just having fun.
It’s just a little levity to try and lighten the mood.

I want an equal playing field. If players at other universities get to smoke and get away with it, or it’s not part of the rules, I want that kind of department.
We are not on that same equal playing field as of today.

Compliance was responsible for White missing a half last year?
Are you sure?

This is exactly why people shouldn’t emotionally invest in a group of 18-22 year old dumbassses.

Okay, I get it and I agree.
Do you believe in holding the player accountable at all within our current rules?

Penalties for positive tests of street drugs:
First positive: Loss of competition during a minimum of 50% of a season in all sports
Second positive: One-year (365 day) suspension
Penalties for positive tests of performance-enhancing drugs:
First positive: One-year (365-day) suspension
Second positive: Permanent ineligibility

LSU
Because LSU shares the responsibility of promoting a drug-free athletics environment with the NCAA, the Athletics Department conducts a drug testing program of its own. The Athletics Department Assistance Program (ADAP) is a mandatory, year-round program of alcohol and drug education, drug testing, and - if necessary - counseling and rehabilitation efforts. ADAP is not governed by the NCAA.
We do this to ourselves.

Just replace the compliance department. This isn't rocket science!
