Has there been a measurable increase in security / drop of crime rates in these areas?

I live in one and it’s been very positive. We have cameras at all entrances with license plate readers plus marked LEOs patrolling.

If you look on a crime map we have noticeably less (virtually none) crime compared to surrounding neighborhoods. Some of the surrounding neighborhoods are quite more expensive than mine with no CBD.

The taxes you are already paying were always supposed to be partially for police patrols and crime prevention. Understand that the government is a business, always hungrier for more profit, always scheming new ways to dig in your pocket, while actually providing less.

Ask the people of St. George how much they received in services for each dollar they paid in taxes. St. George is no longer available so the others in BR will be forced to fund the bullshite, and thieving.
