The aquarium and insectarium might be fun w/a lil nipper, and the weather's gonna be a bit cool this weekend. So those inside venues might be more fun than the open air zoo.
Covention center/downtown area eats that are baby friendly & in your price range:
--Cochon Butcher
--St. James Cheese Co
Slightly farther away but kid-friendly: Pizzeria Bonci, Company Burger

Barcadia during the day is a decent spot with burgers etc. that where your kid can do whatever they want and no one will care.
With the weather being cold this weekend keep in mind you can go from the convention center almost all the way to the aquarium inside the riverwalk.
