My neighborhood is nonexistent for Halloween trick or treaters, so we take my kids to my buddy's house in a very nice neighborhood in BR. We bring extra candy and have a good time. A number of kids do get bussed into this neighborhood to Halloween and some of them are young adults without costumes.
Some people get upset about this, but we don't. We buy an extra $100 worth of candy. No sweat off our back and we help make some kids from less fortunate backgrounds have a better day.
