Letting something live in your head only affects you.
This about supporting LSU and the student athletes.

Is there a push to add lacrosse at LSU? Is the team any good?

It's been a club sport since the 70's. It's starting to grow with the addition of high school and youth programs in La.

Won the LSA championship and made it to the MCLA National Championships last year.

Pretty interesting that they are using the classic cursive "Tigers" on most of the stuff.

It's definitely grown alot in the last decade here in the state as more of the 5A high schools are having teams.

Some dual sport high school athletes play football in the fall and lacrosse in the spring to stay in shape. Gives them a different perspective in vision on defense and offense.

Im all for it! Just another sport id love to dominate in. Louisiana has the talent!

Thanks. Bought a hoodie that would be twice as much (or more) if it didn't say 'lacrosse' on it. Go look at the same items on Fanatics site. Hope it helps them out.

good stuff!

Can never have enough LSU gear, and my son played lacrosse in high school (although he was a bit conflicted, as his former teammate and good buddy went on and played at ULL).

5 weeks- that puts it in line for Christmas.

That's great!

I've learned that LSU Rugby is pretty successful too.

Always great to see any Tigers representing well!

My limited college lacrosse knowledge stretches that college rosters can get up to as large as the high 40s-low 50s (for the Blue Bloods) & the women's rosters can get close to that as well. Women's lacrosse has to be a a realistic move for the SEC to help with the Title IX numbers, no?

LA HS lacrosse growing is helping but LSU MLAX has long been populated by out of state players. Some really excellent players have made their way to LSU for college & found their way to the team, same for the WLAX team (founded 2011/2012).

The MLAX team making the national tourney last year after a handful of close chances has been a big shot in the arm.

If your kid doesn't run track or play baseball/softball, they should 100% play lacrosse in the spring. Especially if they're football, basketball, wrestling, or soccer players. Volleyball, basketball, wrestling, or soccer for girls.

Single sport specialization does more harm than good.

Nice.

Thanks for the link. I just bought a bunch for me and the family. We'll be sporting this at the November tournaments coming up!

Anyone know if those shirts are the cotton/polyester blend or just polyester?
