I wonder why they decided to do it tonight... maybe they were worried about moving the planes overnight with limits on how long the pilots can work?
The 3 Southwest arrivals after 8 pm that are going to the old terminal... they all have later departures.

I think they can move planes across tarmac using tugs without pilots. Not sure though.

I don;t think they will deplane at the new terminal tonight. Likely will deplane at the old terminal and then the planes will be towed to the new gates. Same goes for a lot of the infrastructure, they can bring it over after the last planes land. Istanbul did this earlier in the year when they opened a new airport on the other side of the city and shuttered Ataturk overnight.
