Yes eventually, if you are doing well against lobbies you will get put into tougher groups.

Why do people not like it?

That’s opinionated. But if you are a good player you eventually get put into sweaty groupings were you have to try extremely hard to do well.

But it is good for people who are not good or very casual. As they don’t get stomped.

But yes you will see most good players bitching like crazy about this. It’s nothing to do with losing reflexes. Other CODs were not set up this strong unless in ranked.
