If y’all beat OSU Saturday and then again in the B1G championship game and end with only 1 loss you could probably be excused for the Illinois loss.

11-1 Bama (Loss to LSU) gets in because of reputation, may need Pac-12 support. However, I doubt they need help.

11-1 LSU (Loss to Bama) probably won't get in, but LSU may have the only schedule in CFB to make a claim for the 4th spot.

So you've ignored everything in the OP, got it.

The only way either bama OR lsu get in, assuming a regular season loss to the other and not winning the division and finishing 11-1, is if 2 of the P5 conference winners have 2 losses.
