Ok so now I’ve gotten some quotes and the best price is for a Rheem at about $6900 all inclusive. Not sure about Rheem quality. Thoughts?

Equipment doesn't matter. Installation is all that matters with HVAC. Even cheapo units can last 15 years trouble free when installed properly.

Was this company professional? Did they thoroughly inspect your existing situation? Quality of work is a focal point.

People always say this and I don’t get it for a replacement? Its basically just removing the old unit, hooking up the duct work, hooking up the copper lines, and you are done.

Sure you never want to go with a crappy installer, but how do you really know? Even the better bigger companies have new guys with limited experience.

Now on a new build certainly I can see the difference being huge.
