To put to death (as by hanging) by mob action without legal approval or permission
This is what they are doing to Trump right now in the Mass Media.
Political Death.

Yeah, you right!!! He should sue them like he promised he was going to sue all those women that made the sexual harassment complaints against him before the election.

Where are those women now and those “credible” stories?

Only pussies think they own this word.....I hope Trump tweets "The Dems are not only busing me to the lynching but are spraying me with water canons too."

Don Lemon says that lynching is whatever he says it is.

Yep.
The people whining and bitching about this are stupid.
Plenty of non-blacks got lynched in US History.

The hysteria around this word says more about those people and their racism than it does Trump.
Not that I believe any statistics generated for lynching especially from dates this far back, but encyclopedia Britannica says this:
Lynching has nothing to do with being black, brown, white, Chinese, etc, etc, etc.

Why bother? There's that old saying, something along the lines of "When your enemy is destroying themselves, don't get in the way."

Next he will say he is being crucified like Christ on the cross, and his supporters may inwardly cringe for a second put publicly tweet that he is truly just like Jesus.

More white people have been lynched than any other race in America.
The black version is necklacing!

He used that bword because he knew the democrats all used it in 1998 and he knew they would show their hypocrisy again.
Biden's bullshite explanation was especially pathetic.

Perhaps they STFU when they got a letter for Donnie's lawyer.

I believe Trump used that word because he knew 2 things,
1)it would be turned into a racial issue
2)that many Dems have used it

What was the population breakdown at the time? How many of those whites were latinos? Black population in 1920 was sub-10%... so for 2/3rds of all lynchings to be made up of ~10% of the population...is more than just a bit fricked up, no? Worthy of the stigma?
But the definition is the definition. I'm not going to hate on him for it
