I don't think I'll ever not have a 4K BluRay player. I can't spend 2K on a TV and not get the best of it out of principle. I buy then resell after watching, I have no use for a movie after I've watched it once.
But I only watch maybe 15 movies a year tops anyways. Half of those are $2-5 4K rentals from Vudu and the ones with HDR10 and/or Atmos I buy disc and resell.
