They have two sets of pilots for that?

No idea what hours of service rules they have but on the railroad you can't turn a wheel after being on duty for 12 hours.

Note that is on duty time. You might wait 2-3 hours for your train to show up.

Most likely 6 pilots onboard. 8 hours of flight time is the rule.

Longest flight I’ve ever been on was Seoul to DFW 13.5 hours. I slept 11 of them.

Dallas to Tokyo
Houston to Beijing
Atlanta to Tokyo

All around 14 hrs

Worst was flying into Surabaya Indonesia.

Total flight time with stops was horrible took almost 40 hrs to get there.

Memphis >Atlanta > Tokyo > Singapore > Surabaya

8 hr layover in Singapore going and 16 hrs coming back

Longest single flight - 12.5 hours Minneapolis to Tokyo.
Add the 3 hours from Houston to Minneapolis, 6.5 hours from Tokyo to Bangkok and then a 2 hour car ride to Pattaya + all the layovers. Kick your a**. Did this every 3 weeks for the better part of 2 years. With the 12 hour time difference, it took me over a month to kick the Ambien when I was done.
