Was just at Black and Gold this past weekend. Amazing selection of LSU gear, you won’t be disappointed. You will be broke when you leave though

This is super helpful, so add me to the list of people offering thanks. I posted in another thread, but me and a mate of mine are coming in from Australia (Melbourne to be precise) for LSU v Arkansas on 23 November and were actively looking for a place to get LSU merch before then.

PS. glad you're a fan of Australia. The map in your avatar is about right.

I don't think they sell LSU gear in New Orleans.

My wife has wanted to visit Australia for years. I tell her to go ahead with out me. I'm not going there because of those funnel-web spiders.

Are you Tony, the guy that calls in on the Sunday morning Saints show?

You know I've never actually seen one (or more likely, could not visually identify it if I have). I'm more afraid of getting beaten up by an aggressive kangaroo to be honest.

That said, our wildlife is probably more likely to kill you than the USA -- particularly up north where there are snakes and crocs in abundance -- but the people are probably less likely, so it kinda evens out.

As others have said, Black and Gold on Vets.

I also remember seeing quite a bit at Macy's in Lakeside.

Wal-Mart always has the local teams gear.

If this question is directed at me, regrettably the answer is no. Depending on the exact time, Sunday morning in Louisiana is probably sometime between 11pm Sunday and 3am Monday morning here, so if he is actually calling from Australia, I admire his commitment.

I find it hard enough to wake up at 3am/4am Monday for an early Saints game on three hours sleep to then work through until 8pm the same day as I do basically every week. Plus I can't speak for Tony, but most Americans struggle to understand my accent.

What can I say? I love the Saints. My buddy is the same - it's worse for him, he has to ride 15-20 minutes to get to my house for the games at that time. It would be easier if I lived there but as it turns out, it's not that easy for an Aussie to get work in Louisiana.
