Perine is not our best playmaker. He is our best all around back. Pierce is the better runner and Davis as well but they aren't great at either catching or picking up blitzes. Perine was actually better last year. Toney would be playmaker #1 but he's hurt so it's either Swain or Jefferson. I agree also Trask doesnt have a strong arm but is very accurate for the most part. He jsut doesn't have pocket awareness. We are very susceptible to passes in the middle because Reese is a great run stopping linebacker but horrible in coverage. Our WR core is deep and hoping to see some jet sweeps with copeland but if we can't pass protect it will be a very long night

Sounds a lot like CEH and the freshmen backs.

Honestly if I was you, I would hope they didn't turn to jet sweeps. It plays into one of our strengths which is speed on defense. I would say it may be easier to run off tackle and hope one of our linebackers doesn't fill a gap. Don't run at Shelvin the nose tackle.

I just want to see our o-line protect burrow against the 4 man rush. They do that and we win. Burrow will find the open receivers with time, and if you blitz, the WRs have been finding a lot of open space for Burrow to get off a quick throw.

I'm pumped for this game! It's only Monday and it has already been too long of a week!
