Borderlands Anniversary Celebration Specials

All.... Month..... Long
Starting today, the next five weeks will all have their very own theme in Borderlands 3, encouraging different in-game activities to maximize your rewards. As of now, Boss Week is live, which will be active until October 8, 2019 at 8:59 AM PDT when the following week's theme begins. During Boss Week, some bosses will have an increased chance to drop a unique Legendary item. Here's a full breakdown of Legendary loot drops by boss:
Mouthpiece has an increased chance to drop Gatling Gun
KillaVolt has an increased chance to drop Brainstormer
Gigamind has an increased chance to drop Nagata
Katagawa Ball has an increased chance to drop Rectifier
Katagawa has an increased chance to drop Legendary class mods (all Vault Hunters)
Rampager has an increased chance to drop Kill-o'-the-Wisp
Warden has an increased chance to drop Echo
GenIVIV has an increased chance to drop Ten Gallon
Aurelia has an increased chance to drop Creeping Death
Graveward has an increased chance to drop Earworm
Pain and Terror have an increased chance to drop Legendary class mods (all Vault Hunters)
Troy has an increased chance to drop Nova Berner
Tyreen has an increased chance to drop Bitch
Gets even more betta...

Week 2 (October 8-14): Rare Spawn Hunt!
Week 3 (October 15-21): Show Me the Eridium!

So got the Gatlin pretty easy from Mouthpiece on normal mode.
Kilavolt (max 18 on normal) seems to drop a different legendary weapon everytime I killed him (SMG, Rifle and Shotgun). Including a Cash Infused Brainstormer shotgun. This after like 8 times or so.
Eta: "Breath of the dying" was amongst those.

I haven't finished it either. I keep either going back to help squad catch up on missions OR i'll do the social and get dropped into boss battles for loot. I just finished the second vault

Troy is the last hard boss.
General and Tyreen go down easy.
Take people with you for Tyreen anyway though because everyone gets to open the final storyline chest and it is 5-6 Legendaries each player.

So part of the final mission is opening an Eridian Red chest.
Everything in it is guaranteed Legendary but you can only open it once.
If other people are helping you that have already done it. Boom. Free chest of Legendaries for them too, and if they're Bros and already have some of whatever pops they'll drop it down to you.
Least that's what I've been doing in public games.
Eta:
Only if Cooperative, if Coopetitive it's only the one Red Chest spawn that everyone shares.
Basically the chest makes up for the vault mostly likely being greens a blue and maybe a purple drop.
Tyreen drops fun stuff though.

Good to know. Ive been pretty disappointed in the boss loot til i got a shotgun that absolutely destroys most mobs in 1-2 shots. its legendary and has a slight delay, dont remember the name
also, do you guys save the keys? i have 3 left and wasnt sure if i should go ahead and use them.

Shoot his tank off on his back then all of his critical spots are the red switches. One is on his chest, one on the back of the head, and I think one on each arm. After that you just need to dump shells into the Eridium core that opens from the middle area.

I haven't gotten ANY of the golden loot items from this special. Maybe 1 if that and fought multiple of these bosses. Hopefully the followings weeks are not like this. Was extremely disappointed.

finally got him after changing shields to a faster regen.
I swear all the gear is almost overwhelming in this game.
Got Moxxi's grenade last night from her slot machine. that thing splits into 2 bouncers, one shock and one fire. completely destroys most mobs in 1 toss
