In Al Michaels defense, Collins did have off the field problems before the draft and that’s why he was a free agent signing. The problems weren’t his fault like most people when you say that but they were off of the field.
It’s a complicated story that you can’t really explain in between two plays of a NFL game.

While that's *technically* true, Al should have elaborated more than me did. The way he stated is strongly implied that La'El had discipline or legal problems at LSU, which is patently false. Irresponsible and lazy on Al's part.
