Natchez does fine with tourism. You get weekenders from Jackson and New Orleans, and get a fair amount of European travelers off the river boat tours. There's good restaurants and bars, pilgrimage tours, casino gambling, Native American history, French Colonial history, Civil War etc. There are a lot of people that are fascinated by that stuff. They come from all over.
