If I were going somewhere worse than Beaumont, Port Arthur would be it.

And Harlingen is one of the better towns in the valley. Brownsville I get, but I’d go with San Benito, Donna, Mercedes, Weslaco, Pharr. Edinburg, La Féria, Hidalgo, etc well before Harlingen.

Lol. I have an uncle that lives in Donna, and one in Edinburg. It’s pretty bleak down there, but a little better when the winter Texans flock in.
