Microsoft Outlook calendar sync with stock Android calendar

I have a Note 9 for work, and our company uses Outlook for PC and mobile email. The Outlook app has a native calendar, but I like Google’s better.
To no avail, I’ve tried to sync the two. Is such a thing possible?

From my experience with IPhone and outlook it’s hit and miss
I have Alexa and at times my calendar is synced but yet to figure it all out
Would love to have it all synced as well

I have this problem with my s7. I have to keep removing and reinstalling my exchange/outlook account for it to sync with calendar. its a PITA.

Go under your google account settings on your phone and add your outlook account. There should be an option to choose if it's an exchange type account or Office 365.
Edited to add: Are you saying you're tried this method already and it doesn't work?

Look up gsyncit. Been using this for years now and it works great.
