What’s the policy on CBS primetime games. Are the LSU-UF and LSU-Auburn games guaranteed to be 2:30 PM Central? I really hate Gary. This sucks. There is no other decent games other than ours those weekends too.

Pretty much a 2:30 lock, for both... Unless CBS decides to take Bama/A&M (highly doubtful).

Not guaranteed but most likely. CBS already used their 1 primetime game for the year this past weekend.

CBS gets first right of refusal to 2:30/3:30 SEC games and 1 primetime game per season. It is almost guaranteed that those games will be 2:30/3:30 because they are the best games that weekend

This is ridiculous. They have absolutely ruined our home field advantage. Death Valley at night is tradition. I feel like we play so much better at night.

I know thats what worried me. I thought I had read somewhere that they do only two primetime games per year. So bad.

Night game atmosphere is great, but we don’t play better at night. Total myth. Just look at last year

Wonder if we're both undefeated if CBS makes another deal with ESPN to move LSU/Bama to a primetime kickoff?
Seems like they did this a couple yrs back IIRC

Maybe it’s just the liquor that makes the game better.

I don’t know man probably not. It’s so obvious they are going to pick us both times. They have already made the Florida Auburn game 2:30.

I really hope a deal can be made to allow the Bama game to be in primetime if we're both undefeated. There's no hope for any of the other ones.

Better question is which one will be a College Gameday game?

If Fla loses to Auburn I think CBS will choose Bama/A&M

This happens every year and people complain the same way every year. If we only want to play at night, the solution is don’t be good. If you are at the top the league, you get picked for more 2:30 games

You realize that isn’t a home game, right?

His analysis is usually spot-on.
Plus, he will be throating us pretty hard during those two games. Watch.

Then again if you look at our record in big games at home at 230. We are pretty good then too

They did it for the game of the century.
Alot of money changed hands for that deal I'm sure.
CBS still has alot of money so they may attempt to do it again if both are undefeated.
This years game is sure to be exciting but in the opposite direction of 2011
