Houston QB D’Eriq King has decided to redshirt his senior season after 4 games. His dad says he’ll enter the Transfer Portal. Should LSU go after this kid even with only a year of eligibility? Would he fit the offense?

Brennan throws a pick where targeting should have been called and people are already looking for a replacement. WTF? Can some of y'all just be patient? A full off-season as the starting QB, working with the starters and Joe Brady full time, is going to make MB look All-Conference. Bank on it.

He didn’t impress me one bit against Tulane. He had some WRs drop passes but he also threw some god awful balls. He’s more of a running threat than a passing threat.

I don’t think the concern is the pick six. There is just uncertainty about his potential. He has seen limited playing time in 2 plus years so there are no highlight moments that come to mind. How mentally tough is he? Can he be a leader? Etc.
Plus Burrow has raised the bar!

Ok. Nice two examples out of many. Even Drew Brees has 4" on the kid.
Just saying we caught lightening in a bottle with Burrow, but now we actually have QBs in the wing and don't think this kid fits our offense as well as some assume.
