Understood. He will definitely be in the most ideal situation possible for him to recover. No doubt about that. But even that can only hasten your recovery by so much. At the end of the day, part of the decision for him to return to play will be predicated around a risk vs reward equation: hes a 40yd QB with a narrow, narrow window. Some say the risk to clearing him "too soon" is worth it given that statement.

Yea I would be very surprised if hes not back by then. HOWEVER, I wouldn't be shocked if he doesn't quite look the same his first couple games. I expect them to really shorten the field that first game and not call on him to throw deep much.
