I was at that game and remember that three Auburn fans in their forties sat down in front of my dad and me. When LSU got the ball, one of them, in a highly sarcastic voice shouted, "Come on, Jamie, throw it." I tapped him on the shoulder and suggested to him that he might not like it so much when Jamie threw it this year.

Then, Jamie went to work. Each time he completed a pass, picking Auburn apart, I shouted in an equally sarcastic voice, " Come on, Jamie, throw it." I watched as his neck got redder and redder. Finally, just before the half, without a word to his two companions, he got up and left. He never returned.
